Funding for the company originally came from Neoteny Labs, a Singapore start-up fund headed by Joichi Ito, and from the co-founder of LinkedIn, Reid Hoffman. Viki was founded in 2007 by Razmig Hovaghimian, Changseong Ho and Jiwon Moon.
